MediaSpark wins wins Content Award at
Baddeck International New Media Festival
Sydney, Nova Scotia, October 23, 2000 - MediaSpark IT Solutions Inc., an emerging IT company, announced today its GoVenture.NETwork Internet Portal won the New Media Award for Content at the Baddeck International New Media Festival, held on the weekend in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. This latest success follows last year's exciting triple win.
The GoVenture®.NETwork received the Atlantic New Media Award for Content, sponsored by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Maritimes at this year's event. This follows on the triple win at last year's event, which saw the GoVenture® - Live the Life of an Entrepreneur CD-ROM take home 3 of the 15 awards handed out at the Gala Awards Show, including Best Educational CD-ROM and Best Overall Canadian Product.
The Baddeck International New Media Festival (formerly the Atlantic Digital Media Festival) is designed to offer a meeting place for new media creative, technical and business professionals from Canada and beyond. The key focus for the Festival is on content and creativity in new media -- primarily the web, CD/DVD and digital animation.
