MediaSpark receives 5-Star Rating from
PC Magazine and reaches finalist status
at the New York Festivals
Sydney, Nova Scotia, September 18, 2000 - MediaSpark IT Solutions Inc., a Sydney-based software development company, announced today that it has received international accolades from a major awards competition and a leading technology magazine.
MediaSpark reached finalist status with its GoVenture® - Live the Life of an Entrepreneur CD ROM Business Simulation in the New York Festivals 2000 International New Media Awards. Competing with over 900 international entries, GoVenture was selected to vie for top prize in November. For 42 years, the New York Festivals has honoured excellence in communications media, receiving up to 16,000 entries each year from 64 countries.
Also this week, GoVenture received a five star - "Excellent" rating from PC Magazine (October 2000 issue) -- a media source renowned as the most trusted and authoritative source of technology information for business in America. A review in the "Quick Clips" section of the magazine, gives GoVenture top marks, praising the comprehensiveness of the simulation as well as the quality production value and online help. "Attention to detail virtually guarantees you'll learn how to get a business up and running."
